Lumin8 Football provides structured training sessions that teach children of beginner to intermediate, and advanced skill levels how to play football through various means.
Each training session incorporates a variety of activities that allow participants to learn, practice, and demonstrate their skills within a practical and fun environment.
Objective 1
Catering for Kindergarten to Year 6, beginner to intermediate skill set we aim to improve overall wellbeing which was severely impacted during covid. Team sport encourages a strong sense of community and belonging, boosts a child’s self esteem and reduces stress and anxiety.
Objective 2
To create positive healthy habits for the future by avoiding a sedentary lifestyle. Increased sporting activity promotes better sleep, better problem solving skills, increased concentration and cardiovascular health as well as physically building strength, flexibility and endurance.
Objective 3
Positioned in an accessible location where parents and children can safely walk to training sessions, families are avoiding the need to commute in congested traffic whilst forming a connection with our community.
What age groups can join?
Kindergarten to Year 6 are welcome as we cater for beginner to intermediate and advanced skill level. Term 4, 2025 is catering to Homebush West Public School students only.
What does my child need to wear to training?
Your child can wear shorts and a t-shirt and we also encourage shin pads. HWPS students wear sports shoes. Lumin8 teamwear jersey and shorts are available through our merchandise store at deployfootball.com
What if my child has a medical condition?
Please discuss prior to commencement of the term your individual child requirements into managing medicine.
What if my child cannot attend a training session?
Please advise via email or whatsapp if your child is unable to attend a session. Please note there are no refunds for absences.
